“amigos nicas” (Nicaraguan friends) aims to give children from poor backgrounds a chance for a better future through appropriate educational measures, educational offers and individual support.

Since 2018 “amigos nicas” has a new project “Mi Rinconcito del Conocimiento” (My little corner of knowledge). Children from poor backgrounds and with learning difficulties receive extra tuition. With new learning methods such as games, movement and learning in the great outdoors, the children’s joy of learning and self-esteem are encouraged. The involvement of parents and teachers is important in this project.
